The Great British Bake Off holds a special place in the hearts of the ladies of Her.ie.
Each Wednesday on
BBC1, the baking competition is enjoyed by the members of our team alongside the majority of Ireland and England.
The stalwart show has made quite an impression since it's inauguration in 2010, with the sexual baking innuendos and tough love attitude of Paul Hollywood making the show unmissable every series.

Today, fans of the hit show have been left in doubt as to whether the show will continue in its success as it was announced that
BBC One lost the rights to continue broadcasting it.
According to
BBC, Love Productions,
the producers of
The Great British Bake Off, have signed a 3 year contract with
Channel 4, with the first version of the new addition being shown in the format of
Celebrity Bake Off in 2017.
Reportedly, Love Productions were in negotiations with the BBC for nearly a year before deciding to jump ship to the channel.
Jay Hunt of
Channel 4 confirmed the news.
"Channel 4 is very proud to be the new home for The Great British Bake Off.
"I'm delighted we have been able to partner with the hugely talented team at Love Productions to keep this much loved show on free-to-air television."
Fans of GBBO took to Twitter to voice their disappointment over the deal, afraid that the primetime show would lose it's ad-free, magical feeling when showed on
Channel 4.
We'll have to keep watching to see will it last the move!
