The latest trailer for the Pretty Little Liars spinoff has revealed a killer new mystery

“Is it OK to murder a murderer?”

The highly-anticipated full-length trailer for the Pretty Little Liars spinoff, The Perfectionists, is here – as well as the date it will be hitting TV screens.

Fans have been waiting for the series ever since late 2017, when Freeform handed out a pilot order for Pretty Little Liars: The Perfectionists – based on the Sara Shepard book of the same name.

The Perfectionists is set in Beacon Heights, a seemingly picture-perfect town, years after the original PLL’s finale. It focuses on some college friends who are having trouble with the stress of being overachievers.

But in the aftermath of the town’s first murder, each of the Perfectionists will hide behind “a secret, a lie and a needed alibi.”

Sasha Pieterse and Janel Parrish, who both starred in the original series, will be reprising their roles as Alison DiLaurentis and Mona Vanderwaal.

And from the looks of the trailer, Beacon Heights is going to be a lot more dramatic than Rosewood ever was – mostly since the footage kicks off with someone asking: “is it OK to murder a murderer?”

Freeform confirmed that the series will debut in North America on March 20. We’re keeping out fingers crossed it will be here soon, though (hint hint, Netflix?).
