The producer of Saved By The Bell has broken fan’s hearts with his latest comments

Nooooooo!

The executive producer of Saved By The Bell, Peter Engel, was doing an interview recently with TVLine when he was asked about what the characters would be doing if the show was still on today. He gave his thoughts on what jobs they would have saying:

 "Zack would probably be the host of a game show or talk show, or he’d be managing a hedge fund, Slater would be a high school football coach, Screech would be Bill Gates, Jessie would have just lost to Donald Trump, Lisa would probably be Vera Wang, or a buyer at Neiman Marcus and Kelly would be married with children and have a cooking show on the Food Network."

This is all fine and, to be fair, some of them are very plausible but then he dropped a bombshell when asked if Zack and Kelly were still married today. He had a short answer saying:

“Probably not. Well, they’d be married — but not to each other.”
