"The Church of Night, like all covens, celebrates the Winter Solstice—the longest night of the year—when families gather around the Yule Fire to sing pagan carols and tell ghost stories. "But the holidays are also a time for guests and visitors—both welcome and unwelcome— you never know what might come down the chimney…"https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YUfWFeB2hoE&feature=youtu.be The show's regular cast - including Kiernan Shipka, Miranda Otto, Lucy Davis, Ross Lynch, Michelle Gomez, Chance Perdomo, Jaz Sinclair, Tati Gabrielle, Adeline Rudolph, Abigail Cowen and Lachlan Watson - will all be returning for the special. While A Midwinter's Tale is a standalone episode, elements of the episode will still fall in line with the continuity of the original series - which makes sense, given the timing of season one of The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina. The first episode picks up in the lead-up to Halloween (and Sabrina's 16th birthday), with another one in the 10-episode season focusing on Thanksgiving - which takes place towards the end of November. Either way, we know what we're going to be watching next weekend.
