The Will & Grace reboot has finally gotten an air date in Ireland

We couldn’t be more excited.

The rebooted version of Will & Grace debuted in across the Atlantic in September last year, before making its debut in the UK just a few weeks ago.

And now it looks like the sitcom will finally begin to air here, too.

The first episode of season nine, titled 11 Years Later, is scheduled to debut on RTÉ 2 on February 12.

The description reads:

“Politics come between Will and Grace when he crushes on a Republican senator and she gets a new interior design contract – for the White House itself.”

The show first ran for eight seasons, before it ended in 2006.

The finale saw Will (Eric McCormack) and Grace (Debra Messing) having drifted apart and living separate lives – with Will and his husband Vince raising their son Ben, while Grace had a daughter named Laila with her husband Leo.

And while the time jump revealed that Will and Grace eventually became best pals again, producers have ignored that storyline for the revival – and bring the group of pals back together again.

While the initial reboot was slated to only have 12 episodes, an additional four episodes were ordered just weeks before it premiered in the United States.

A tenth season of the series was also commissioned.
