Fans will not want to miss this.

With Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald set for release in November, Harry Potter fans are about to step back into the wizarding world but you don’t need a portkey to bring a little bit of magic into your life.

Dublin Wizard Con will be arriving on November 3-4 at the Red Cow Hotel and it’s set to be Ireland’s biggest gathering of Harry Potter fans.

As they state on their official website: “It’s a chance for wizarding fans to come together and share their love of the characters, books, movies and stories. It is a is an immersive, intimate, fan focused convention.”

Ok, what can fans expect?

Of course, everyone in attendance is encouraged to dress up as their favourite characters and enjoy all of the following.

If you take a stroll through the Dragon Alley Markets, you’ll get to see the the wondrous and magical stalls of their mini-market. If you’re like Harry and are constantly looking for a little bit of adventure, they’ve got just the thing for you because in order to escape the Enchanted Escape Rooms, you’ll have to work together with your friends to escape.

A bit like Harry, Ron and Hermione then.

Aside from this, the House Cup is also up for grabs as every single Hufflepuff, Slytherin, Gryffindor and Ravenclaw will be competing for the top prize.

Do you solemnly swear that you’re up to no good?  Good because there’s going to be a Marauders Map Treasure Hunt that contains clues, riddles and completing challenges for you and your friends to solve.

After all this excitement, it’s likely that you’ll need something that’s a little bit more chilled out. Well, you can embrace your inner Newt Scamander because there’s going to be some Fantastic Beasts on show too. Well, they’re going to have some owls and mystery creatures for you to get your picture taken with.

Finally, if you’re the biggest Potterhead going, you might fancy your chances in the quiz that they’ll be hosting.

In fact, the website has specifically called for Quizards to participate (get it?) and you don’t even need to pass your O.W.L. exams to take the test.

Anyways, to round things off, there’s going to be their very own version of the Yule Ball. Here’s hoping that those in attendance won’t end up with their names being thrown into the Goblet of Fire!

Tickets are being snapped up pretty quickly but if you and your mates are interested, more details can be found here. Enjoy!
