It’s proved a very popular storyline.
Corrie fans have been invested in the Kate Connor and Rana Nazir affair storyline for some time now and most people were overjoyed to see them finally give in to their feelings for each other.
However, it doesn’t look as though the path of true love will run smoothly as there’s a new twist that the ‘audience won’t expect’.
Although fans may be aware than Rana is about to tell her husband Zeedan that she’s having an affair, she doesn’t explain that it’s with Kate.
Speaking to Digital Spy at the National Television Awards during the week, Bhavna Limbachia, who plays Rana, explained that there’s a lot more to come for the couple.
“It’s something that the audience is not going to expect and it gets a whole lot worse”.
Bhavana was careful not to give too much away but it’s certain that there are more obstacles in the way before Rana and Kate can actually have a relationship.
“There are a few hurdles in the way. I don’t want to give too much away, but it’s going to be worth a watch”.
Sounds like this one is set to run and run…
