Emmerdale's dark storyline between Maya Stepney and Jacob Gallagher is set to take another twist.
The plot has left many fans unsettled and "sickened" ever since it began a few weeks ago. But now it looks set to get even worse.
Digital Spy report that Maya will offer to privately tutor the teenager, which a smitten Jacob is totally on board with.
David, who still doesn't know what has been happening, agrees; not quite realising how leaving the two of them alone together is a bad idea.
The schoolteacher has spent the last few weeks grooming her boyfriend's son - and her student - as she tried to convince him they are meant to be together.
In an effort to get his mind off Maya, Jacob slept with Gabby Thomas - and later decided to ignore her, which messed her around, too.
Producer Laura Shaw previously said that the soap had approached Barnardos to ensure that they were tackling the storyline as sensitively as possible.
She said:
“We met some incredible individuals and were moved by their courage and willingness to help us tell this story sensitively.
“Hopefully it will make young people and their parents more aware of these issues and their impact.”
