There's a new female-led assassin Netflix thriller on the way and we're hyped
Killing Eve inspired?
Or simply another piece of content about an assassin that also just happens to star a woman?
Only time will tell, but a new film that includes both of the above is set to appear on Netflix some time soon-ish... and it sounds absolutely class.
Kate will follow a ruthless criminal assassin aptly named Kate, who has less than 24 hours to get revenge on her enemies after she is poisoned.
Starring Mary Elizabeth Winstead as the title character, the film will follow Kate as she kills some questionable folk, grapples with her own mortality, and eventually forms an unlikely bond with one of her victims' children.
Not a whole lot else is known about the movie, other than it's being directed by Cedric Nicolas-Troyan from Umair Aleem’s script, and is set to be produced by Bryan Unkeless, Kelly McCormick, and Patrick Newall.
Woody Harrelson has also recently been cast in the film, and everybody likes Woody Harrelson.
Production is set to begin on Kate soon, with some scenes thought to be shot in Asia.
Can't wait, to be honest.
