Planning on heading out this Friday night? Save your money and watch The Late Late Show instead.

It may actually be worth skipping the pub and staying in this week as RTÉ has announced a stellar lineup.

Ryan Tubridy revealed on his RTÉ Radio One show this week that he’d be joined by comedian Jack Whitehall.

The Late Late host told listeners that he’d been watching Travels with My Father, Jack’s Netflix show, in preparation for the interview.

“I’m really intrigued to meet him and I’d say he’s going to be a really delightful guest on the programme,” he said.

Kiefer Sutherland, better known as Jack Bauer in hit show 24, will also be stopping by, he revealed.

“We’re very excited about this. I watched all the 24s.”

Andrea Corr was today announced as another of the guests for this Friday’s show.

The Corrs singer will be there to chat to Ryan about her new memoir Barefoot Pilgimmage. The books deals with Andrea’s grief at the death of her father in 2015.

She’ll also speak about her trouble trying to start a family. The mum-of-two revealed this year that she’d suffered five miscarriages in the past.

It looks like Ross O’Carroll-Kelly creator Paul Howard will make an appearance too. The author hinted at it today when he posted a promo for The Late Late Show on his Instagram stories.
