TIME magazine has totally outdone itself with its latest Donald Trump cover

TIME are killing it…

There’s a storm a comin’ in the White House and TIME Magazine are making sure that everyone knows about it.

In a rare callback cover, TIME asked longtime collaborator Tim O’Brien to reimagine a cover he did for the magazine just over a year ago.

You may remember it…

The “Stormy” cover of the 23 April issue reimagines O’Brien’s iconic cover from February last year, and even gives some more rain in the period in between.

“When I painted the ‘Nothing to See Here’ cover art, like many, I assumed the level of chaos could not last, that patriots on both sides of the aisle would step forward to control much of what transpired in the past year,” O’Brien said.

“As the never-ending flood of breaking news washed over the White House, and the firings, the scandals and the general mayhem filled each news cycle, I felt the storm metaphor was as relevant as ever.

“I mostly thought about how water would fill the space, how it would be transparent in some areas and reflective in others,” he said.

According to TIME, it’s just the sixth time a cover has been re-designed and re-published on another addition.
