Time to mark the calendars, To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before is officially getting a sequel

Keeley Ryan

Yessssss.

A sequel to To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before has been officially confirmed – although it looks like there may be a big casting change.

The Noah Centineo and Lana Condor-starring rom-com – adapted from the first book-and-a-half of Jenny Han’s trilogy – was released earlier this summer, where it became a massive hit.

A few weeks ago, the project was reported to be “one of the first movies being discussed” in a new multi-picture deal between Netflix and Paramount.

But now, it has officially been confirmed: Lara Jean Covey and Peter Kavinsky are going to be back on-screen very soon.

The news was confirmed in a short video shared on the film’s official Twitter account, where Lana jokes with Noah about sharing “their little secret.”

Based on the footage, though, fans think there is going to be a change when the film does arrive on Netflix: as in, that one of the characters are going to be recast.

The clip ends with Lana taking another call, this time from an unknown person, and excitedly exclaiming: “You’re gonna make the perfect John Ambrose!”

Only…John Ambrose has already been cast. He appeared in the end credits scene, played by Jordan Burtchett.

The fact that Jordan’s face didn’t appear in the clip has led fans to believe that the role may be recast – although nothing has been confirmed, and his IMDB listing doesn’t have any listings that would be a conflict with returning as John Ambrose.
