Not the best timing.
Tom Hiddleston and girlfriend Taylor Swift are currently in Australia. Tom is back over there to reprise his role as the bad guy Loki in Thor: Ragnarok.
They're staying in the penthouse of The Oracle Hotel on the Gold Coast and it didn't take long for people to find out. As soon as people caught wind of their location fans began to wait outside the hotel to catch a glimpse of them. Some reporters from local news channels also waited patiently and were rewarded when Tom decided to go out for a run.
Not missing out on the interview opportunity journalist Hayley Webb walked alongside the star to ask some questions. While he looked more than happy to answer a few questions about being back to work on the movie, things got a bit awkward when it came to questions about Taylor.
Hayley asked, "How's Taylor enjoying the beautiful Gold Coast?" to which he responded, "Ah... I'm not going to answer that if that's alright?"
Not stopping there though she went on to ask again about Taylor but this time said, "What are you and your girlfriend looking forward to doing on the Gold Coast," to which he answered awkwardly again, "I don't know, it's just good to be back."
Another journalist from Channel Ten, Lauren Day, also quizzed him about Taylor but she went straight in there with, "Is Taylor Swift the one?" and again he gave nothing away saying, "I'd rather just talk about my work if that's alright."
To be fair, he was trying to go out for a run in peace, you can't blame him for not wanting to divulge any details about his relationship to a random journalist.
