Tonight’s I’m a Celeb bushtucker trial was… a bit of a mess

This was hard to watch...

Jade Hayden

Oh dear.

Earlier today, it was revealed that Rebekah Vardy had been ruled out of tonight’s bushtucker trial on medical grounds.

Medic Bob took her blood pressure and decided that she was too unwell to participate in the trial.

He then replaced Dec during his link.

Ant and Bob’s Saturday Night Takeaway is absolutely going to become a thing.

Seeing as Rebekah and Stanley were supposed to take on tonight’s trial together, the celebrity with the third highest votes then had to take Rebekah’s place.

And that celebrity ended up being Kezia.

So the Labour politician and the Tory took to the trial area to try and win some desperately needed meals for camp.

But a successful coalition they did not have…

The pair had to answer a range of quick-fire questions while spinning around on some contraptions and throwing some balls around the place.

They did run into a bit of trouble though in that Stanley couldn’t really throw the balls and Kezia didn’t have a clue what Lord Voldemort’s real name was.

(That one didn’t actually matter though because Stanley missed the shot anyway.)

Things only went from bad to worse when the lights in the room went out meaning that neither celeb could actually see where their balls were going.

… And Kezia didn’t know the words to Jingle Bells.

Time was running out, balls were going everywhere, Stanley couldn’t throw… it was all a bit of a mess really and honestly, a bit hard to watch.

In the end, Stanley and Kezia headed back to camp with five stars.

In fairness to the guys, they did get nine questions right – it was just those pesky balls that got in the way.

But as Stanley said, sure he only did his best.
