There is no denying it, Rise of the Planet of the Apes was one of the surprise hits of 2011. The origin story for Ceasar did far better commerically and critically than anyone really expected.
Today, the first trailer for the sequel Dawn of the Planet of the Apes has been released and boy are we looking forward to it.
The film takes place four years after the last instalment, Ceasar and his troops have taken over but the humans continue to fight back.
However, Rupert Wyatt has not been signed on for the sequel. Directorial duties have been handed over to Matt Reeves, he of Cloverfield and Let Me In fame.
