Homeland is due to return to our screens in October and Showtime have now released the first look at season four of the hit show.
While Damian Lewis’ Brody may have bitten the dust at the end of season three, stalwarts Claire Danes (Carrie), Mandy Patinkin (Saul) and Rupert Friend (Quinn) will be back for the new series and showrunner Alex Gansa has revealed that Carrie will continue to struggle with the legacy of her doomed relationship in upcoming episodes.
“I think she’s got a lot of grieving to do. That baby exists for her as a marker emotionally. The place she is now is where you cannot have dependents, so she was forced to leave the child at home… I think emotionally she has stabilized and the mental illness we have dealt with, she has now dealt with.”
