While we have been spoiled recently with hit series after hit series, the ones that really make an impact are few and far between. Especially in this genre.
But Maniac looks as if it could live up to high expectations just from looking at the trailer.

The 10-part series is a remake of a Norwegian series of the same name, which came out in 2014. It's based around two strangers who find themselves caught up in a mind-bending pharmaceutical trial gone wrong.
It also has a pretty stellar cast of Jonah Hill, Emma Stone, Sally Field, Justin Theroux, Julia Garner and Jemima Kirke.
It's due for release on September 21 so we don't have long to wait.
