When it was first announced that the classic Carrie starring Sissy Spacek was the latest in a long line of Hollywood remakes, we were pretty sceptical; the original is almost perfect and Spacek brought the lonely character from the Stephen King book to life.

However, then we heard that Chloe Moretz was on board to blame the troubled girl with Julianne Moore signing on to play her overly-religious mother and suddenly, our ears pricked up.
