Joaquin Phoenix and Reese Witherspoon will reunite on screen for upcoming movie Inherent Vice and the trailer for the Paul Thomas Anderson movie has just been released.
The pair starred as Johnny and June Carter in musical biopic Walk The Line and have now joined the Boogie Nights director’s adaptation of Thomas Pynchon’s critically acclaimed 2009 novel, alongside Josh Brolin, Owen Wilson and Benicio Del Toro.
The trailer opens to hear a female narrator say: “If it’s a quiet night out at the beach and your ex-old lady suddenly out of nowhere shows up with a story about her current billionaire land-developer boyfriend, and his wife, and her boyfriend, and a plot to kidnap the billionaire and throw him in a looney bin, maybe you should just look the other way.”
Inherent Vice is due for release at the end of the year.
