It turns out Russell Crowe absolutely loves the Toy Show calling it a 'wonderful tradition'
"You’ll appreciate how wonderful this tradition from Ireland is"
Look, we've never needed outside validation when it comes to our stunning country. We know how incredible we are! But when it comes to certain traditions, such as the Late Late Toy Show, we hold it very dear to our hearts and sometimes the outside world doesn't appreciate how important the show is to us (and everyone in the audience).
With that in mind, it's always lovely to get a nod of appreciation from a Hollywood legend. Russell Crowe has thrown his support behind the Late Late Toy Show by retweeting the call out for toy testers. The 56-year-old New Zealander said that it doesn't matter where you come from, if you have a kind soul and an open heart, you'll appreciate the Toy Shoy:

Not to sound too twee, but we wholeheartedly agree and I'm sure Tubs would welcome Russell with open arms to this year's show.
That being said, in order to be a toy tester, we're hoping Russell follows the appropriate application processes. That competition is stiff.
