We're surprised Hollywood hasn't tried to reboot the iconic television series, but one of the show's stars recently opened up about the possibility of returning.
Actress Vanessa Williams recently opened up about returning to Wisteria Lane and we're feeling hopeful.
She told MailOnline: "There could possibly be a Desperate Housewives reunion, I’m not sure if there will be a reboot because it was so great and it is encapsulated in the time, that it is hard to recreate the same magic.”
She added: "But do believe me if everyone said they will do it I’m sure we will make it happen."
The cast of the beloved drama series is still in touch, Vanessa confirmed.

The actress added: "I do speak to the girls, I actually spoke to Teri Hatcher last week and I invited her to the opening on December 1, she is unavailable but we will see if any of the other girls show up."
Desperate Housewives aired from 2004 to 2012 and followed the lives of women living on Wisteria Lane.
Vanessa Williams starred alongside Eva Longoria, Marcia Cross, Felicity Huffman, Teri Hatcher, and Nicollette Sheridan.
We'd love to see the show return, but is it time to start over with a new cast?
