We featured Forrest Gump as our classic movie pick of the week and given that it is one of Tom Hanks' most popular performances, we were delighted to see this audition tape resurfacing.
In the tape, Hanks acts out some of the key scenes from the film, like the moment that Forrest first found out he is a father. His co-star, Robin Wright, features in the audition tape.
The last few minutes of the audition with the actor that would play his son in the film is absolutely adorable.
