Tickets for the long-awaited reunion shows sold out in minutes, and many Irish fans have been desperately trying to get their hands on tickets ever since.
However, promoters have confirmed that the shows are officially sold out.
There are many scams doing the rounds online that the public needs to be wary of.
The public has been advised against buying tickets from people on social media, especially on TikTok and Facebook.
Many people are claiming to have tickets, but fans should only purchase from Ticketmaster.ie.
Speaking to The Journal, Niamh Davenport, head of financial crime with the BPFI, said:
"Facebook Marketplace is a big one. Fraudsters are professionals. They’re using stolen images, building up trust over time, and targeting fans who are emotional about seeing their favourite band."
She explained that it used to be easy to spot a scam because the tickets would be priced lower, but fans are willing to pay more than before now.
"The red flag used to be a suspiciously low price, but now people are so desperate, they’re willing to pay over the odds."
Fans have been encouraged to use the BPFI’s ScamChecker tool.
Oasis will play Dublin's Croke Park on August 16th and 17th.
