Calvin Harris is collaborating with someone new and Taylor Swift will not be happy

Anna O'Rourke

The drama.

Calvin Harris has released the tracklist for his upcoming album and we are buzzing.

Funk Wav Bounces Vol. 1 (yeah that’s what it’s called) will see the Scottish DJ hook up with heavy hitters including Frank Ocean, Kehlani, Future, Pharrell, John Legend, Khalid, Ariana Grande, Young Thug, Nicki Minaj  and Snoop Dogg.

One name that we weren’t expecting to see on the list though was Katy Perry, but it’s true – Katy is on board what will be Calvin’s fifth studio album

Gossip fans will recall that Calvin’s ex Taylor Swift has had some pretty major beef with Katy over the years – the latest instalment of which saw Katy upload a video of herself dancing along to Kanye West’s ‘Famous’.

Katy rapped along as Kanye sings “I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex, why? I made that bitch famous!”, a lyric that Taylor famously took umbrage at, though Kim Kardashian cleared her husband Kanye of all blame by releasing a video of Taylor on the phone to Kanye approving the lyric.

Still with us?

So, yeah. That in short might be why Taylor could be unhappy with this collaboration.

We, on the other hand, are ecstatic – two of the best names in music coming together? Whatever it’s about, it’ll be one hell of a tune.

Here’s Calvin’s full list of collaborations for his album, due out on 30 June.
