Taylor Swift and Katy Perry have been at loggerheads for quite a while now and it looks like things are set to get a lot worse.
It all stems back to Taylor’s 1989 tour because she believes Katy ‘stole’ the backing dancers she wanted to join her in concert.
Things got more complicated when Taylor released Bad Blood this year as it’s widely believed the song is about her ongoing feud with Katy.
Was Bad Blood directed at Katy?
Katy is said to be in the process of writing Crocodile Tears and an source close to the singer spoke to Hollywood Life about the song.
“Katy’s tentatively titled Crocodile Tears is a direct reply to Taylor’s claims that she tried to sabotage Taylor’s tour by hiring her backing dancers”.
“Crocodile tears is a term used to describe insincere sorrow, and that’s exactly what Katy thinks Taylor tried to achieve in her interview with Rolling Stone back in 2014 when she made those outrageous claims”.
Another insider said: “So far Katy’s been very restrained with what she’s said about Taylor in public but is now ready to put her side across via the song – which is all about being fake”.
Maybe they’ll kiss and make up but it doesn’t look likely…
