Turn on your party shoes, the trailer for Taylor Swift’s Miss Americana is here.
The documentary, which is set to make its world premiere at the Sundance Film Festival on January 23, will arrive on Netflix on January 31.
“Miss Americana is a raw and emotionally revealing look at one of the most iconic artists of our time during a transformational period in her life as she learns to embrace her role not only as a songwriter and performer, but as a woman harnessing the full power of her voice.,” the description for the film reads.
Directed by the Emmy Award winning Lana Wilson, the documentary is expected to provide audiences with a look at a Taylor Swift they’ve never seen before.
“I became the person everyone wanted me to be,” she tells the camera at one point in teh trailer. “I had to deconstruct an entire belief system, toss it out and reject it.”
