WATCH: We’re Puce For Nathan Carter After This Unfortunate Late Late Slip Up

Country music gets our Nathan VERY excited.

Megan Cassidy

Anyone who stayed in to watch the Late Late Show last night, couldn’t help but be roused by the epic show of country music talent.

But none more so than country’s golden boy Nathan Carter it seems…

The poor chap was left more than a little red-faced after an innocent effort to praise his music mentor Philomena Begley went awry.

The crater took an unfortunate pause after the phrase “Philomena was the first woman in Ireland to get me up”.

Of course he meant on stage, but he didn’t have time to recuperate before the pause was filled with loud guffaws from the gutter-minded audience.

The Scouser, who now lives in Co. Fermanagh, rose to prominence when his cover of Wagon Wheel got heels tapping all over the country.

He appeared on last night’s country music special alongside the likes of Declan Nerny, Big Tom, Daniel O’ Donnell and of course, Philomena Begley.

Is it just us, or does Philomena look absolutely chuffed with the slip up?!
