The next James Bond movie could be filmed in Ireland, film bosses have revealed.
The film’s screenwriter John Logan and producer Barbara Broccoli, were speaking at an event over the weekend hosted by the Institute of Directors to support the Irish film industry.
Barbara Broccoli’s family have been producing the world-famous franchise from the beginning.
Logan is a three-time Oscar-nominated screenwriter and also wrote the last Bond film Skyfall, he’s to be based in Ireland until March.
According to The Irish Times, Logan revealed that the script for next Bond movie is “in process” and he’s using his time in Ireland to “soak up the local colour now that I’m here.”
The screenwriter is said to have a view to include the country as a location in the Bond franchise.

“I’m fully Irish” said Logan whose parents hail from Belfast.
Producer Broccoli said that if Logan includes the country in his next script “we’ll come here. Ireland is gorgeous. I’d love to come here and make a Bond film.”
“I hope we will come here to film whether it is a Bond or another story” continued Broccoli.
If they do decide to head over to film, they might have to rethink their beach scenes.
