Cannot wait.
We’ve just a few months to wait for the new series of Homeland but it cannot come quick enough. Carrie Mathison and Saul Berenson are back once more and ready to take care of your new year.
Homeland is back on January 15th at 9pm in the States. It should be picked up in Ireland shortly afterwards. As part of the confirmation of the new date for the series they’ve shared a video which will please any Homeland fan.
We know some information about the new series, that it will be based in New York. According to Vulture, Clare Danes confirmed that one of our favourite characters, Quinn, would return for the sixth series alive and well. At the end of the last series we saw him in a coma after being exposed to sarin gas.
But he’s back and together with Carrie he moves to New York. The show will take a different direction this year due to its relocation. Co-creator Alex Gansa said:
“There are no Islamic State terrorist networks or organized terrorist networks in the United States like there are in Europe. There is so much fear flying around right now, and Homeland doesn’t want to contribute to that fear, so we are going to tell a different kind of thriller this year.”
