Who Killed Lucy Beale? Eastenders Producer Rules Out One Of The Characters

Who did it?

Cathy Donohue

Friday night’s episode of popular soap Eastenders ended with a chilling shot of Lucy Beale (Hetti Bywater) lying lifeless in woods near her home.

Since then, there has been much discussion about who killed her with more than one character in the frame for her murder.

Prior to her death, Lucy had been romantically involved with Albert’s Square resident womaniser Max Branning (Jake Wood) and newbie Lee Carter (Danny-Boy Hatchard) was another man vying for her attention.

In addition to these two characters, her friends and members of her family are also thought to be among the suspects.

Adam Woodyatt, who plays Lucy’s father Ian Beale, says that he does not know who the killer was precisely, but hinted that he did know something which he described as “little” when speaking to Unreality TV.

Producer, Domininc Treadwell-Collins, has ruled out one member of the cast saying: “Who didn’t do it? Stacey, she’s not around.”

He then continued, “That’s not that helpful, is it?”

It is thought that this storyline will run for the next ten months and the killer will be revealed in time for the soap’s 30th anniversary.
