The season 2 listing has since been removed from IMDB so it could have just been a glitch, but that doesn't stop us from dreaming! If we want to really venture back we can look to 2017 when co-creators, Amy Sherman-Palladino and her husband Dan Palladino, signed a massive deal with Amazon. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the deal includes a Gilmore Girls clause, which allows them to continue the Netflix revival (eek). The most concrete and recent news of a revival, however, dates back to February of this year, when Amy Sherman-Palladino hinted at a reboot at the 2020 Writer's Guild Awards, she said "You know it's the kind of thing where we hadn't planned on doing the Netflix movies... never say never". She added that it would have to be the "right time for everyone", that is certainly not a no in our books. Clearly, nothing has been confirmed but as the leaves begin to fall and Autumn sets in we'll do the same thing every other OG fans do, we will rewatch the seasons change in Stars Hollow, drink too much coffee and dream about a movie!I thought it was all rumors but then I saw this?!?! Can it be true?! A Season 2 of Gilmore Girls: AYITL listed on IMDB ? pic.twitter.com/Gl1fZx554a
