This woman gave her boyfriend a Queer Eye-inspired makeover with hilarious results
It's safe to say that Netflix's Queer Eye has been the hit show of 2018.
It's beautiful, it's funny, it's heartwarming, and it's genuinely the nicest show on TV at the moment.
What more could you want?
Well, it looks like the streaming service's show has now gotten the biggest possible seal of approval: a parody clip.
Melissa Aquiles, a New York-based comedian, performer and writer, decided to pay the ultimate tribute to the Fab Five by making a parody video with her boyfriend.
The clip sees her dressing up as Antoni, Karamo, Jonathan, Tan and Bobby - all so that she could give her (somewhat reluctant-looking) boyfriend a Queer Eye-inspired makeover.
And the results were absolutely hilarious (and pretty spot on).
I love @QueerEye on @netflix so much that I became all five of them and made over my boyfriend.
Thanks for the inspiration ❤️ @jvn @bobbyberk @KaramoBrown @tanfrance @antoni

She wrote alongside the clip:
The video soon went viral, getting more than 21,000 likes and 5,000 retweets.
And it looks like Melissa's parody has won over some of the Fab Five themselves.
Bobby Berk, the show's design expert, called it "genius", while Karamo Brown said he "can't stop laughing."
Omg!!!! I can’t stop laughing!!!!!! Hahahahahahaha “your transformation is complete” lol https://t.co/8iYG898om7

One of the executive producers later added:
"From all of the executive producers here can I just say that this is the most brilliant thing ever.
"Our entire office is dying right now. You are amazing."
