Lock up your daughters because creepy Penn Badgley’s at it again.

Netflix’s You is getting a second season.

It’s official.

It’s happening.

And yeah OK, if you watched the entire first season already and have seen even some of the hype surrounding this show, you probably could have guessed that a second season would be in the pipeline.

But still, it’s nice to have confirmation, you know?

If you are one of the 12 people on this earth who have yet to watch You, here’s what you’re missing.

Creepy Penn Badgley (Dan Humphries from Gossip Girl, don’t you know) and Elizabeth Lail enter a weird, abusive, completely messed up relationship where Penn’s character Joe literally follows Lail’s character Beck around until they end up dating.

His stalking behaviour doesn’t stop there though as Joe gains access to Beck’s phone, creeping on her emails, her group chats, and essentially everything she says and does.

The whole show is narrated by Joe too so expect an excessive amount of Penn Badgley literally just rambling on about honestly nothing while whatever questionable murder, attack, or sex scene plays out on screen.

Like, honestly it’s a terrible show but it’s also brilliant? So we’ll deal.

Netflix announced that You had been cleared for a season two a few days back when the show’s IG page included a “season two coming soon” blurb in its bio.

Can’t come soon enough, tbh.
