Robin Wright has revealed that US President Barack Obama made a reassuring confession to her during a recent meeting.
The actress plays First Lady Claire Underwood on House Of Cards and it turns out that the Obamas are big fans of the show, which launched its third season last month.
Wright revealed this week that she had the opportunity of meeting the couple at the Correspondents Dinner and the President took the time to share his observations on the Netflix drama.
"I met President Obama and Michelle at the Correspondents Dinner… and before he even shook my hand—of course I was shaking like a leaf, I was so nervous—he leaned in and said, 'I just want you to know, I'm not as bad as Francis'. He needed me to know that," she said.
“He said, ‘I'm not as bad, but she on the other hand, is more like you'. She and I kind of winked, she completely agreed."
