Zayn Malik annoyed fans with his acceptance speech for the iHeartRadio Music Awards

They are not impressed.

Zayn Malik won Best Music Video of the Year at the iHeartRadio Music Awards for Pillowtalk. He wasn't able to make the event in California, because he's currently in Paris, and to make up for it he posted a thank you video to fans on Twitter. Instead of just doing it by himself, Zayn invited his girlfriend and co-star in the video Gigi Hadid into the video.

Fans were less than impressed by this and were quick to question why she was thanking everyone too.

Proud of Zayn for one of his first awards as a soloist.. but like... why didn't he accept it alone??? Whys he gotta put GiGi in there??
