Medical students at NUI Galway had a very busy schedule this week as the annual Teddy Bear Hospital opened at the university.

Now in its 10th year, the hospital is organised by the Sláinte Society and aims to create an environment to help children, ranging in age from three to eight, feel more comfortable around doctors and hospitals.

Fair play to 200 medical and science students who volunteered on the day!
