On or off?
Which do you prefer?
If you can’t decide you’re one of the few because a lot of people online certainly have very strong opinions about whether or not they like to wear socks in bed.
And they are not backing down.
While we’re sure that this debate has raged on and on for many years it, for some reason, seemed to reach new levels of intensity on Twitter this week.
Apparently, you should not be trusted if you opt to wear socks in bed.
Supposedly, placing the garments over your feet beneath the covers is something akin to devil worship and should not be tolerated.

I wore socks to bed without realising I am disgusted

We told you it was intense.
Others, however, are falling more on the side of the sock, and they refuse to be intimidated for their bedtime preferences.

Without firmly taking a side here, it is worth noting that research has shown that wearing socks to bed can actually improve your sex life. A lot.
While we’re almost certain that the guys in the study mean you should wear socks while you are literally having sex, we’re guessing that having them on before you get going probably has some effect too.
Healthline also suggests wearing socks to bed to increase your body’s blood circulation and to stop your heels from cracking or drying out.
(They also mention the sex aspect too, which seems to be a pretty big part of this debate that Twitter is conveniently leaving out.)
So, how do you sleep at night?
