The first ever menstrual cup that can be worn during sex is here

The best news!

Denise Curtin

Menstrual cups are becoming quite the common thing nowadays.

For many reasons, this product is becoming a favourite amongst the gals and mainly due to the fact it’s reusable, sustainable and environmentally friendly.

So if you are a firm fan of the cup or tempted to give it a go, this might just persuade you… Intimina (the company that brought you the Ziggy cup) has just launched the first ever menstrual cup that can be worn during penetrative sex according to Cosmopolitan.

So how exactly does this work?

Well, it’s pretty simple, all you do is insert the cup, the same you would a tampon and it expands out and sits just below the cervix and away from the vaginal canal. Mess free period sex? Yass.

The cup also features a “leak proof” double rim, so when they say mess free, you can trust them. And because we spend SO much money on disposable sanitary products every year (don’t do the math, I did and I”m traumatised), this could be the new best way to save money and mess.

This could also save us the money we spend on new bedsheets and knickers when things get accidental. Win win.

You can purchase the cup online here.
