Although we're still only in the first days of November, the festive spirit is spreading thick and fast.
Christmas adverts mark the beginning of the festive season, or at least the start of when it's acceptable to get excited about Christmas.
We've already seen numerous ads for the happiest time of year already, including Burberry's campaign featuring Domhnall Gleeson, Aldi's Kevin the Carrot, John Lewis' Buster the boxer and just yesterday we had Lidl's Christmas offering went viral minutes after it was released online.
As if all those weren't enough to satiate your appetite for the upcoming festivities, arguably one of the best celebrators of Christmas, UK retailer Marks and Spencer have brought out their advert to compete with the others.
M&S have focused on one of the most forgotten characters when it comes to Christmas - Mrs. Claus.
Backing up the old adage "behind every great man, there's a great woman, 2016's M&S advert shows the work Mrs. Claus does that puts the entire Christmas operation in motion.
This year, we see Mrs. Claus unite brother and sister Jake and Anna with style, poise and grace, all things perhaps our aul' fella Santa lacks, given his history.
Mrs. Claus, played by Janet McAteer, shows that women truly can do it all.
Fans of the advert took to Twitter to praise the new campaign by M&S.
m&s advert is all girl power, mrs claus don't need need no sleigh cause girl slays all on her own #LoveMrsClaus
#LoveMrsClaus I have to admit I much prefer this year's M&S advert to the John Lewis one. It felt so much more christmassy. In love with it♡
