The BBC announce new food show to replace The Great British Bake Off
In a move more controversial than Brexit, The Great British Bake Off Is set to move to Channel 4.
The ingredients that helped the bake off rise to success, however, are all pretty much remaining with the BBC.
Now in its place, the BBC have developed a new extravaganza called The Big Family Cooking Challenge.
The clever chief wigs have recognized that we love nothing more than amateur competitive cooking, so following in a similar format as GBBO, The Big Family Cooking Challenge will consist of cross-generational family teams of amateur cooks battling it out for the chance to be awarded the title of 'the nation's best home cooks'.
The judges for the show are currently unconfirmed, but we hear Mary Berry is available. Similarly, there is no word on the presenters but we can think of two very qualified people.
According to Cosmopolitan, The Big Family Cooking Challenge is merely a working title but hey, if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.
The show is set to air on BBC 2 in summer 2017.
