We need to call it what it really is: An easily accessible tool for nosy people to find out where their old primary school classmates are currently working.
Not a sinner alive is immune to slightly exaggerating their worth on LinkedIn. Once you input all your skills, achievements and experience, it's quite a depressing state of affairs to see it occupy such a small amount of space. At this point, you need to fluff out the material. It's sad, but lookit, we all do it.
