Period sex is a pretty divisive topic.
While some steer clear of any sexual activity around their time of the month, others aren’t bothered at all and continue on full steam ahead.
In fact, there is plenty of research out there that champions the many benefits of period sex, although it is still a topic many women are slowly coming around to.
Well, this company wants to enable you to make more choices around that time of the month and your sex life.
‘Flex’ are small disposable “menstrual disks” developed by two women which fit onto the end of the cervix to stop menstruation much like a tampon.
However, they are much more compact, meaning there is still room for… other things… in there.
And they seem to have hit a nerve, as more than 20,000 people have signed up to try Flex, with preorders starting this month.
CEO Lauren Schulte told Tech Crunch:
“Flex is so shockingly comfortable that women tell us they forget they’re on their period while they’re wearing it.
“We’ve built a product that allows couples to increase their opportunity to have sex by 23 percent. The great tragedy of people avoiding sex on their period is that this is really the time when women want it most.”
