Westport House is one of the Best Family Visitor Attractions in Ireland and quite rightly so with plenty to do for the whole family.
The house itself was designed by Richard Cassels and James Wyatt, and is considered one of the country’s most beautiful historic homes. The surrounding grounds are also something to behold.
As well as the scenery, there are lots of outdoor activities available including archery, zorbing and combat games.
If you have some time to spare, take a trip into Westport itself which is filled with quaint shops and lovely restaurants.
