Glee’s Mark Salling reportedly hurt himself in a suicide attempt weeks before he took a plea deal in his child pornography case.

The 35-year-old pleaded guilty to possession of child pornography involving a prepubescent minor earlier this month.

He will be sentenced to four to seven years in prison.

According to TMZ, the actor cut himself in a suicide attempt a month and a half before he took the deal.

The publication reports that he cut both of his wrists while in the bedroom of his home in late August.

He is said to have “freaked out” and called for his roommate, who found him and rang 911.

Paramedics treated Mark at the house, before they put him in an ambulance and rushed him to the hospital.

He was reportedly taken for psychiatric evaluation, before later being taken to a rehab facility for psychological issues.

The former Glee star was arrested in December 2015 after investigators alleged a USB flash drive, laptop and hard drive seized from his residence contained thousands of images and videos depicting child pornography.

The TV star, who rose to fame as the musical series’ football player Noah “Puck” Puckerman, had initially pleaded not guilty in 2016 to two counts  receiving and possessing child pornography.
