“As a club, we will rally around the families and friends of the deceased at this difficult time.”

On Sunday night, four young men lost their lives following a fatal car crash in Donegal.

John Harley, 24, Sean Harkin, 22, Micheal Roarty and, Daniel Scott, in his 20s, were travelling in the same car when the incident occurred around 8:40pm.

No other car was involved in the crash and when emergency services arrived shortly after 9pm, the men were pronounced dead at the scene.

Now, in a time of mourning and great sadness, the local GAA club of the men in the parish of Cloughaneely, Co Donegal, shared an emotional tribute to pay their respects to the victims and their families.

Reflecting on each of the players and their incredible impact on others, CLG Chloich Cheann Fhaola posted the following to Facebook in both Irish and English.

Our thoughts and prayers are with their families at this difficult time.
