"Tonight will be dry apart from a few showers along west coasts at first. There will be good clear spells but cloud will gradually increase in the west towards morning with some patchy rain or drizzle there. It will be cold with lowest temperatures falling to between -1 and +2 degrees with a widespread frost, but along western coastal fringes lowest temperatures will stay around 3 or 4 degrees".Early indications suggest that the frost will continue at night for the rest of the week and overall, it will be cool and bright. We would advise checking in with Met Éireann regularly for further updates.
