The red carpet might be a far cry from the cobbles of Weatherfield or the grime of Albert Square, but celebs from our favourite soaps know how to turn up the glamour when required.
Familiar faces from our TV screens showed up in force last night for the annual TV Choice Awards, a night which saw ITV win big with Best Drama for Broadchurch and Best Actor for David Tennant, while Sheridan Smith picked up a Best Actress Award for her portrayal of the late Cilla Black.
Eastenders beat off stiff competition for Best Soap, while in the individual awards Corrie’s Carla Connor took Best Soap Actress, Danny Miller took Best Soap Actor and Kush Kazemi claimed best soap newcomer.
