So this probably wasn’t the start of the metrosexual look, but it’s definitely a case of seeing is believing.
Ireland in the 90s was a strange place – from double denim Bewitched to Boyzone wearing dungarees, there were some dodgy fashion choices… Of course this meant there was bound to be some throwback photos that some celebs would prefer remain hidden.
Amongst these are Irish footballing legends Mick McCarthy and Shay Given who gave a nod to some choice fashion pieces from the Penneys Autumn/Winter collection.
