The iconic S Club 7 are BACK! But not as you once knew them

Throwback!

There ain’t no party like a (kind of) S Club party..?

If you didn’t know every single one of the dance moves to S Club 7’s Don’t Stop Movin‘, sorry, but what even were you doing with your childhood?

Since those glorious halcyon days, we could only dream of a time where S Club would reunite and provide us with some bangers akin to Never Had a Dream Come True, Reach, and all the other ones that pretty much defined our youth.

Well, the day has finally come lads and S Club have announced their return to the pop world as well as a new single.

Well, sort of.

Instead of S Club 7 featuring all your favs like Paul, Rachel, Hannah, and the other lad, the best the guys could manage was S Club 3.

Or, as they’ve officially rebranded as, ‘SC3.’

Cool.

SC3 is comprised of Bradley, Jo, and Tina – or, the only ones who weren’t busy enough to actually get back together, record some new music, and release it to the world.

The Sun has reported that in order not to piss off the others, the trio had to rebrand.

However, apparently, the release of their latest track, Family, could still cause some problems.

According to a source:

Family was originally pitched for all seven of them to sing on their Bring It All Back reunion tour in 2015, when they toyed with the idea of releasing new tunes.

“But it was Paul who decided he didn’t want to continue, and the other members didn’t want to release music without the whole band.

“With S Club 3 now putting out the song, it could cause friction.”

Whether it causes this illusive friction or not doesn’t really matter because we are getting new S Club 7 – sorry, SC3 – music for the first time in 14 years.

It’s a great day for the parish.

Family is set for release next Friday.
