Corrie's Katie McGlynn debuts new brunette look
The star looks completely different as a brunette.
Coronation Street actress Katie McGlynn has shocked fans with a brand new brunette look.
McGlynn, who played Sinead Tinker on the long-running soap, has been rocking a platnium blonde do for quite some time now. However, the actress recently decided to switch things up a bit, and she looks absolutely stunning.
McGlynn showed off her new hair in a photo on Instagram over the weekend.
"Who said blondes have more fun?" she wrote in the caption
Katie was immediately met with compliments in the comments section.
Samia Longchambon, who plays Maria on Coronation Street, told her pal: "Wow really suits you Katie!"
Lisa George, who plays Beth Sutherland, chipped in to say: "Wow you look so different."
Kimberly Hart-Simpson, who plays Nicky Wheatley on the show wrote: "Yea mate I love it!"
Indeed, Katie looks unrecognisable after ditching the blonde hair dye, and it makes us want to do the same.
The actress, however, is no stranger to switching things up when it comes to her tresses. Two months ago, she shared a snap of herself with beautiful purple locks. She later went back to blonde in May.
McGlynn played Sinead on the soap for several years. She left the show in 2019. Sinead, her character, died after a cervical cancer story-line.
For her performance, Katie won a National TV Award in 2020.
More recently, Katie McGlynn played Georgina in BBC One's The Syndicate.
